Justice Safiyanu Muhammad Dabi of the Upper Shari’a Court, Birnin Kudu has been sacked by the Jigawa State Judicial Service Commission. Justice Safiyanu was accused of collecting a bribe of Fifty Thousand Naira (50,000) from a litigant. The Director of Publicity and Protocol Matters, State Judiciary, Abbas Rufa’i Wangara, made this known in a release on Saturday, noting that the judge collected the sum of N50,000 as a bribe when the litigant appeared before him when he was at Upper Shari’a Court, Birnin Kudu.
