More than $68,000 has been donated to the Pullman Serves it Forward Campaign, resulting in around 4,500 meals for people in need. 
The program was organized by the Community Action Center, Jamie Callison, and Jeanne Weiler of Washington State University. 
The program not only helps people who are struggling in the community but also local businesses. Weiler says restaurants have been struggling during the COVID-19 pandemic and this is a way to make sure everyone has food on the table. 
Restaurants have also donated, providing around 240 meals to the Serve it Forward program. 
Donations to Pullman Serves It Forward is used to purchase $25 gift cards to local restaurants. From there, cards are distributed in food boxes distributed by the action center and other local programs.  ....
