After being held hostage for two weeks in gaza, an American Woman and her teenage daughter are free following their surprise release late friday. 17yearold natalie raanan, who had just graduated high school, and her mother, judith, are from illinois. They were visiting family close to gaza when they were taken hostage by hamas. All day, civilians have been fleeing by car, on the back of trucks and on foot. Israels military dropped leaflets telling people to leave their homes and move south. The Evacuation Order affects an area home to more than a Million People. Israel has massed soldiers near gaza. They could be ordered to move into the densely populated enclave. The Israeli Military has said it knew it will take longer than 2a hours to evacuate so many people, but has blamed hamas for telling people to ignore the warning. There have already been several days of air strikes on gaza, which have killed around 1500 palestinians.
