Dimapur Fazl Ali College (FAC) in Mokokchung was declared the best college among 17 other colleges under 25 Naga Bn NCC during the training year 2022-23. An update from the college stated that the senior division (boys) and senior wing (girls) NCC cadets of the college took active part in various activities like rifle shooting, drill, rent pitching, blood donation and cultural activities and have received a number of prizes. Besides, they have also taken part in Independence Day, Ek Bharat Shresht Bharat (national integration), trekking, pre-Republic Day camps etc and have staged spectacular performances in all of them. It mentioned that the cadets have also been at the forefront of social welfare and patriotic activities like Puneet Sagar Abhyan (cleaning of water bodies), Har Ghar Tiranga, support to orphanages, tree plantation, Yoga Day etc. earning accolades from the local communities.
