A Nairobi court has slapped eight Chinese nationals with a fine of Sh50,000 each for working in Kenya without business permits.
The foreigners were arrested in Imara Daima, Nairobi last week in a joint operation conducted by officers from the National Police Service (NPS), and Immigration Department.
Besides the fine, the magistrate’s court ordered the Chinese nationals to regularize their immigration status. ....
