Today, a new Nokia smartphone with the name of yet another Marvel character called ‘Quicksilver’ appeared on Geekbench. The device was tested for a crazy amount of times, i.e, about twelve times, with Android 11 and 6 GB RAM. It is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm ARMv8 processor with a base frequency of 1.8 GHz. Among the twelve tests, Nokia Quicksilver scored 1500 in multi-core and 471 in single-core tests at its best. The processor in question is most probably the new Snapdragon 480 5G because the recently announced OPPO A93 5G was also spotted on Geekbench with the same identifier, ‘ARM implementer 81 architecture 8 variant 8 part 2052 revision 14’. Qualcomm in its press release for Snapdragon 480 5G also said that they expect 5G smartphones with the said processor from Nokia Mobile, OnePlus, OPPO, and Vivo in early 2021. So the Snapdragon 480 5G processor in Nokia Quicksilver makes sense.

The listing reveals the device to be powered by an octa-core Qualcomm ARMv8 processor operating at a base frequency of 1.8GHz. The phone has 6GB of RAM and is running on Android 11. The device scored 471 points in single-core tests and 1,500 points in multi-core tests on Geekbench. Going by these numbers, the Nokia Quicksilver appears to be a budget offering from HMD Global. The source code of the listing further reveals that the phone has an Adreno 619 GPU. The recently announced Qualcomm Snapdragon 480 5G SoC features this GPU.
