MIT researchers' advances help bring quantum error correction a step closer to reality and make them almost 100% accurate.
MIT researchers developed a superconducting qubit architecture that can perform operations between qubits with much higher accuracy than scientists have yet been able to achieve. Utilizing a superconducting qubit called fluxonium, the architecture is scalable and could be used to build a large-scale quantum computer.
