The multi-day firefight between a joint team of Army and Jammu and Kashmir Police personnel and terrorists in the Kokernag area of Anantnag district continues, with the use of drones and quadcopters on Friday to locate and neutralize the militants.
According to officials, the security personnel involved in the operation, which broke out on Wednesday, were being assisted by quadcopters and drones in the ongoing efforts to locate the terrorists.

"We received 38 calls for flying drones in different areas of Delhi. There were also one or two calls regarding terrorist attacks. Though it was a hoax call, none of these calls were taken lightly and all standard protocols were followed," DCP Ops Anand Mishra said.
