Carpooling: When it comes to rides, sharing is caring

The state government had previously refuted claims that carpooling is banned and clarified that only carpooling by non-commercial vehicles is illegal and it might attract fines up to Rs 10,000. However, now the government is going to study the legality of carpooling using white-board vehicles after carpooling app representatives made a representation to Transport Minister Ramalinga Reddy. The Principal Secretary has requested 10 days to study the arguments made by them.
