COLUMBIA, SC (WOLO)– The Kershaw County Sheriff’s Office says they are investigating a shooting incident that took place on the 1400 block of Fort Jackson Road in Lugoff. Deputies say a subject was seen leaving in a gray four-door sedan heading towards Highway 601. Officials say the victim was taken to a local hospital for treatment where he later succumbed to his wounds and was pronounced dead.
The Kershaw County Coroner David West made notifications to the victim’s family and identified him as Vidal Bastein, 36, of New York. ....
