Governing body approves budgets of RDA, WASA

Rawalpindi: The 55th Governing Body of Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA) on Saturday approved the annual budget 2021-22 of RDA amounting to Rs2,329.005 million.
A meeting of the Governing Body held here today was chaired by RDA Chairman Tariq Mahmood Murtaza.
The RDA Director General presented the annual budget of RDA in the meeting.
DG Rawalpindi Development Authority informed the meeting that the authority succeeded to generate revenue amounting to Rs559 million, Rs264 million more than the target of Rs295 million fixed for fiscal year 2020-21.The meeting was informed that the RDA succeeded to generate record revenue as all out efforts were made on the directives of Chief Minister Punjab Sardar Usman Buzdar and the authorities concerned of RDA worked hard as per the Prime Minister Imran Khan’s vision and implemented a policy to promote the construction activities in the district. ....
