Said they don t have any radar points. so this hypothesis explains why there may be nothing, no radar from thailand and no radar from indonesia. but, you know, then somebody has to have put a motive on it. so we don t know the motive. the motive might have been skirting radar, or the motive might have been they were just flying in a certain direction. and we don t have the radar to clearly plot it around indonesia. however, if that s what the chinese were thinking, and that s how they replotted the plan as to where to search, it would be very interesting to see if these pings turn out and if they use this skirting the radar idea to find their place to search. that would give it more credence to me. colleen keller, does this the intention here would seem that someone by saying that they skirted indonesian radar, what have you, some sort of ....
On the immarsat they had provided coordinates to the researchers two days after the accident and where they are searching now. it also suggested more data from satellites and radar points to come. certainly more and more nations are providing information and assets to help in the search. of course you d also want to wrap up back at home base, if you will, on the issue of what was in the pilot s information to close that door, that alleyway once and for all. what was in the maintenance records, anything outstanding. a lot of it is shutting down avenues so you don t have loose ends. hopefully additional coordinates coming in from other countries and from the satellite company will help them honey in. at this point if they don t get any wreckage, they have to theorize where the point of impact might have been based on few satellite handshakes or pins, where it would have run ....
Plane could have landed on that runway and was headed in that direction. whether in fact it did is something that remains to be seen. where is it now if it landed on the runway. we would have evidence of it. the scenarios that we are discussing, we are discussing because the primary radar points and the acres ping points that were plotted put the plane moving in that direction. within the realm of foreseeable scenarios should be considered. it s a bit like medicine. when you are coming up with a diagnosis, all reasonable diagnosis have to be included in. would acres work under water? it would not. it s an electrical system. it s a transmitter. you get it wet, it s not working. don, when you talk about what s reasonable, i guess that s where i differ here. ....
Speculative in my opinion. where is air traffic controls? what is malaysian air traffic control s responsibility in all of this if the plane was in the air for four or five more hours? it depends. obviously there s military traffic control, civilian air traffic control, data from different sources. at some point you have to take all the radar from multiple sites, get it all together and all timed over the same time and worked out for differences in geography so you know you have one data center you re looking at. that takes time. once you have that, then you have an accurate prediction of you know where the transponder ended and now you can look at all these different primary radar points and predict where the airplane went. ....
