Holly Spangler RALLY CRY: Nutrien’s CEO Chuck Magro views the company’s recent carbon farming announcement as a rallying cry. “We can’t do it alone,” he says. The company is rolling out a program in Illinois and Ohio where farmers can earn up to $50 an acre for adding conservation practices that store carbon. Nutrien recently announced plans to buy credits from farmers for storing carbon between 2021 and 2022.
