Bahrain-based Al Salam Bank has announced a net profit of BD31 million ($82.24 million) for the first nine months, up 53% when compared to BD20.3 million ($53.8 million) last year, while its operating income surged to BD202.49 million ($537.11 million).
Al Salam Bank has posted net profits attributable to shareholders of BD10.28 million ($27.26 million) in Q2 of 2023, a robust increase of 47% on Q2 2022, while the H1 profit jumped 52% to $54.52 million.
Al Salam Bank plans to further support its Algerian business to accelerate its growth and capture new pockets of opportunities.
