Completely snapped. you go up and down some of the main roads here and trees are littered across the roadways. there was no power here about four hours ago when we originally arrived. but utility trucks have been on the scene and slowly street by street, block by block it looks like some sense of normalcy is coming back to the city, which is a bit of relief i'm sure for residents here in victoria. but still a long night ahead and several days ahead of extensive rain. very, very saturated ground here. more rain on the way will obviously bring the potential for flooding. that's the next concern....
