Erode: The district police arrested nine persons on Sunday for abducting three men and extorting money. The abductees were P Mohan, 45, an antique seller from Kilpauk in Chennai, his car driver Suresh, 36, and his friend Roy, of Kolkata, 40. Police said Mohan was doing business with Rahuman, 42, of Kalahasthi in Andhra Pradesh and Ranjith Kumar, 39, of Sathyamangalam in Erode district.
