RAJOURI, July 13: District Development Commissioner Rajouri, Rajesh K Shavan today took a comprehensive review of the performance of the Rural Development Department here in a meeting of the concerned officers held here today.
Among the others, ADDC, Pawan Kumar; ACD, CPO, Mohammad Khurshid; Sushil Khajuria; ACP, Abdul Rashid; X-En REW, Noor Ali and BDOs attended the meeting.
A discussion on various points including initiation of works projected during ‘Back to Village’ programme and water conservation-related works, progress regarding the works in the last financial year, Geo-tagging of assets, registration of youth under youth club, FTOs generation etc was held threadbare in the meeting. ....

Rajouri, Feb 11: To ensure the better implementation of the Government schemes on ground level and for proper bridging between District Administration and Public, the District Administration Rajouri today came up with a new concept of Lok Mitar- helping hands for public. District Development Commissioner Rajouri Rajesh K Shavan, on Thursday constituted as many as 386 teams consisting of the field functionaries from RDD, ICDS, Forest, Agriculture, Education, IT and Revenue Department and designated them as Lok Mitars at a mega event organised at the district headquarter. ....
