March 16, 2021 Huron Housing Authority kicked off a Housing rehab program early in 2020.  The program Is funded by the SD Housing Development Authority and is designed to rehab a single family, owner occupied low income home in Huron.  After a full year of developing the program, Rehab Housing specialist Ralph Borkowski introduced the application period for the first full year of housing rehab projects.  Borkowski has had applicants to this point but is in need of more due to various factors.

The build up of a home rehab program introduced just under a year ago is ready to begin improving home in its first full season.  Ralph Borkowski, the housing rehab specialist with Huron Housing made his presentation before the Huron City Commission Monday night.  Borkowski says what they have been doing leading up to this point.
