Villagers openly reject PUP Areas Rep in Corozal South West
It is just 5 months since the General Elections and already one PUP Area Representative is receiving the wrath of those he was supposed to represent. A video forwarded to the Guardian Newspaper shows villagers in the Corozal South West constituency in the village of San Narciso, publicly rejecting the Area Representative for that division, Ramiro Ramírez. They took down his flag and as they did, bitterly complained that he had abandoned them. The show was streamed live and at least one of the residents tore the flag, ripped it to pieces, stomped on it and finally lit it on fire.
