Over 2,500 Dalit employees are serving in different parts of Kashmir Valley. After the killing of Dalit teacher Rajni Bala in May this year these fear-stricken employees have been agitating for adjustment in Jammu.
Killing an innocent teacher is an inhuman, barbaric act, and society as a whole must condemn such incidents to isolate those indulged in such activities.

Appointed under the inter-district recruitment policy, over 2500 Scheduled Caste employees are serving in far-flung interiors of Kashmir Valley. Unlike those appointed under the PM package, these employees are living in rented accommodations.
After those recruited under Prime Minister's special employment package, Jammu-based Scheduled Caste employees have also demanded relocation to safer places.
