The first Dimensity 9200-powered phones are expected to launch by end of 2022.

Taiwanese chip manufacturer, MediaTek, on Tuesday announced its newest flagship chipset, the Dimensity 9200. MediaTek’s new SoC offers enhanced overall performance and power efficiency, as well as capability for both mmWave 5G and sub-6GHz. The Dimensity 9200 is fabbed on the 2nd generation TSMC 4nm process and is the company’s first chipset to use an Arm Cortex-X3 prime core clocked at 3.05 Ghz and based on the ARMv9 architecture.
