幾天之前，Lexus才透過線上同步發表新世代NX車系，當時Lexus以NX 450h+這款全新推出的2.5升Plug-in Hybrid插電式油電複合動力車型為主角，帶領2.5升Hybird、2.4升四缸渦輪增壓以及2.5升自然進氣等4款全新動力一同站上舞台。不過，以排氣量最小仍有2.4升的動力編成，對應臺灣汽車稅制或許有些吃虧。但是，臺灣買家也不用失望，在發表後不久，Lexus全球官網動力編成上就出現「2.0l」動力欄目，顯示NX 200仍在Lexus的佈局規劃當中。
