In just a week, the glamourous actress has shared that she will be joining the team of “MR-9”, a film based on the novel, “Dhongsho Pahar” (The Hill of Destruction), from the popular Bangladeshi spy thriller series, “Masud Rana”, written by Qazi Anwar Hussain. Mim will be playing the role of Sulota Ray, an Indian Raw Agent, and also the love interest of Masud Rana.

It was also reported Emraan Hashmi was roped in to star as the villain in the film. The shooting commenced amid tight security in order to avoid leaks from the sets of the film. Though the shooting has come to a halt amid the second wave of COVID-19, it's being reported that the next schedule will begin in June 2021.
