New ward councillor for Guiseley and Rawdon
GUISELEY and Rawdon has a new ward councillor after Conservative Paul Alderson was elected to Leeds City Council. Cllr Alderson replaces fellow Conservative Pat Latty who is retiring after more than a decade in office. The new councillor is a father of two and is local to Guiseley. He said: "I would like to take the opportunity to thank everyone across the Guiseley and Rawdon Ward who voted for me in the Leeds City Council Elections. "It is an absolute privilege to be given the opportunity to stand and represent the best interests of our area as a Leeds City Councillor.
