View Comments A 7-year-old child died after drowning in an apartment pool on Wednesday, according to the Chandler Fire Department.  Officials said crews responded to a drowning call at an apartment complex near Ray Road and Arizona Avenue. The child was found in the pool without a pulse and not breathing.  The child was transported to a local hospital in critical condition but later died.
