Pennsylvania Acting Attorney General Michelle Henry announced child sex abuse charges against five members of Jehovah's Witness congregations on Monday.
Five men belonging to separate congregations across Pennsylvania face an array of charges for crimes dating back to 1998.
These arrests follow charges filed against four other members of Jehovah’s Witness congregations in October 2022.
All five face charges related to the alleged sexual assault and exploitation of children.
Two more Jehovah's Witnesses from Lancaster County have been charged by a statewide grand jury with using their positions within their churches to sexually abuse children.
