Claudia Sosa-Mondragon of Asheboro scratched off a $20 ticket and took home the $2 million top prize this week.

A Randleman woman won a $1 million lottery.  Angelene Dingman purchased the winning $30 ticket at the Ready Mart on North Main Street in Randleman. She didn't believe her luck when she found out she won.  “I’m sitting here shaking,” she said as she claimed her prize Tuesday at lottery headquarters in Raleigh. “I just can’t believe it. It’s still so unreal.” Dingman was given an option of receiving the $50,000 a year for 20 years or a lump sum of $600,000.
