Of what's led up to that. it's a complicated issue. it's not something where there's this boogeyman who you can point the finger and say that's it. they are also struggling to hold on to their school so in a lot of rural towns because of school consolidation, that's really hurt the towns as well. it's the identity of the town and the threat, one of the story lines we followed besides the kids and the basketball season was the threat of their school being taken away. and that's very serious to these people. they don't want to consolidate. they want to hold on to their school, to their identity....
