If you’d have asked me if I ever thought I’d find myself hanging upside down from a pole – for fun, nonetheless – my answer would have been a brisk but firm “no” (with perhaps a chuckle and an expletive thrown in).
Yet, here I am in a studio, at 11am on a drizzly Sunday morning, doing just that at Pole Divas. My
legs are crossed at the ankle and I’m clinging to that pole with all the strength I can muster. While it
might sound terrifying, it’s actually quite exhilarating.
