Brunei Darussalam is still lacking writers capable of producing quality scholarly articles, an important component in the Language and Literature Bureau’s (DBP) initiative in achieving a journal of high impact, said Acting Deputy Director of the Language and Literature Bureau Mohd Azurin bin Othman.

Insya Allah, with the Mastery of Academic Writing Workshop, participants will be able to produce scholarly works of a quality comparable to the writings of world scholars that can be absorbed in every issue of the
Beriga Journal and other publications,” he said during the opening ceremony of the workshop yesterday, as the personal representative of Acting Director of the Language and Literature Bureau Suip bin Haji Abdul Wahab. ....
