Hello, good morning from bbc london. i m thomas magill. a lack of rental properties is being blamed as one of the factors making it more difficult for tenants to find somehere to live here in london. one estate agent says there s almost 50% fewer homes available compared with four years ago and that s driving up prices. bbc research found there s at least 15 requests to view each available property. we saw this flat, we loved it. we put in an asking price offer, which was 1950 a month. we got outbid by an over asking price offer so we ended up having to pay 2150 a month instead of the asking price of 1950. plans for a major redevelopment of one of the capital s busiest train stations in east london has been submitted to the government. the upgrade to stratford station will include 2,000 new homes, new retail space and changes ....
