Indian staffing firm Info Edge, through its subsidiary Redstart Labs, agreed to invest USD 400,000 in Ray IOT Solutions Inc., a US-based firm that develops a non-contact breathing and sleep tracker for babies.
Info Edge, an India-based job board, announced Redstart Labs, a wholly-owned subsidiary of the company, has in its meeting of the board of directors held yesterday, agreed to invest about USD 500,000 in SkyServe Inc. at the applicable exchange rate.
The high-powered jury initially shortlisted biotech startup String Bio along with Info Edge Ventures-backed Brainsight AI, which is building an advanced software system that can create a map of the human brain, tracking signals exchanged between different parts of the brain.
The award will recognise innovations that launch a business or give it a big boost. It should be an original idea that is core to the business or one that provides the differentiation that sets it apart from competition.
