April 9, 2021 Just before 7:00pm on Thursday, April 8th, Galesburg Police responded to a single-vehicle crash near Lincoln and East North Streets. Witnesses told dispatch the female driver seen exiting the front driver-side of the sedan appeared intoxicated and fell over backward when exiting the vehicle. She even asked another motorist at one point if she hit them with her car. According to Illinois State Police reports, a 17-year-old male from Mount Sterling was traveling westbound on IL Route 99 near 905 East Street in Brown County when he lost control of the 2010 Kia Forte he was driving. Woman dies following crash in Winston-Salem Brian Bennett Replay Video A woman has died following a Winston-Salem crash on Thursday.  According to police, the incident happened on US Highway 52 southbound just south of US Highway 421 south. The initial investigation revealed vehicle #1 was traveling in the right lane. Vehicle #2 was traveling in the left lane. March 1, 2021 Henderson County, Il-  A LaHarpe, Il man was injured in a two-vehicle crash Saturday in Henderson County. According to Illinois State Police, 60-year-old Corbett Udell of LaHarpe, Il was travelling northbound on 700 east about 1/2 a mile north of 900 North in Carman Township in Henderson County.  At the same time, a Kenworth tractor-trailer, driven by 48-year-old Brian Beaird of Cuba, Il was travelling southbound in the same area.
