RTÉ is planning to reduce its workforce by up to 400 people by 2028 under new cost-cutting plans, according to new reports.
Staff were briefed on the plans at a meeting with RTÉ management this afternoon.
Staff are concerned that RTÉ’s new plan will promote a ‘gig economy’ and ultimately harm the creative sector.
