In its April 5 session, the Beltrami County Board of Commissioners heard comments on and discussed proposed new boundaries for redistricting.

At one point, the DFL party had announced candidates for the 7th District seat, but those individuals are no longer eligible to run in the district after the redrawing of Congressional districts in Minnesota.

Hubbard County's legislative and congressional delegates comment on the reshuffling of district boundaries that will go into effect in 2023.

Reed Olson, a Beltrami County commissioner, has announced his candidacy for District 2A of the Minnesota Legislature.
