Reem Traders commissioned a 2,000 metric tonne (MT) cold storage facility exclusively for dates and dry fruits with five chambers in Bunder. MANGALURU: With the pandemic and increased awareness about eating healthy, the demand for dates has seen a drastic rise. Fortunately, the excess demand has not led to a price rise, but in fact, imported dates have recorded a reduction in price by nearly 25%.
