SAN DIEGO  — The county Sheriff’s Department said it will resume allowing jail inmates to have visitors in some of its detention facilities starting Saturday. SAN MARCOS —  California Highway Patrol investigators arrested a 25-year-old woman Tuesday on suspicion of attempted murder and assault with a deadly weapon in connection with a freeway road-rage incident last week in San Marcos. The suspect stabbed another driver with a box cutter, CHP spokesman Officer Juan Escobar said.
