There were nine COVID-19 related deaths in Sangamon County reported
Persons are now being warned to be aware of potential COVID-19 vaccine scams. Sangamon County health officials reported Wednesday nine new deaths due to COVID-19, though those deaths took place over four days, from Friday to Monday. Three of the deaths were residents of long-term care facilities, including two residents, both females in their 90s, from Country Lane Memory Care Assisted Living in Riverton.
