Midweek minibreak: Five swoonsome stays for Valentine's Day
Competition was fierce for the top slot of the Independent’s Reader Travel Awards 2024 but Dromoland Castle pipped all other Irish hotels to the post for its unpretentious luxury. Its Regal Romance package is available from €1,038 per room and includes two nights’ accommodation with a full Irish breakfast each morning, a two-course lunch for two, one OSKIA 60-minute warm oil massage per person, plus unbridled use of the leisure centre and swimming pool facilities. dromoland.ie
