Province reports 177 new COVID-19 cases, 210 recoveries, no deaths in Sunday update
Health officials reported 177 new COVID-19 cases on Sunday, along with 210 recoveries and no new deaths.
The province also announced a single-day record of 13,651 vaccine doses administered on Saturday, May 8. That includes 848 doses administered in North Central, 486 in the North East, and 219 in the three far north regions.
Roughly half of all adult Saskatchewan residents have now received their first vaccine dose. The government will expand vaccine eligibility to residents at least 29 years of age on Monday at 8 a.m. All adult residents from the Northern Saskatchewan Administration District are already eligible for the vaccine.

Health officials reported 147 new COVID-19 cases on Monday, along with 266 recoveries and no deaths.
The province also announced 9,124 vaccine doses administered on Sunday, including 596 in North Central. Roughly 51 per cent of Saskatchewan adults have now received their first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine, including 61 per cent of those at least 30 years of age or older.
As of May 10, 46,393 residents are fully vaccinated.
The North Central Zone reported nine new cases and 17 more recoveries on Monday, bringing the area’s active case total to 188. Prince Albert reported two new cases, bringing the active case total to 85. North Central Zone 1 reported three new cases, bringing their active case total to 31, while Zone 3 reported four new cases, bringing their active case total to 72.
