Nigeria Police Academy Board Accused Of Violating Federal Character, With Provost, Deans, Committee Chairmen From Northern States
The Nigerian government under President Bola Tinubu has been accused of violating the provisions of the Federal Character Commission Act, in the constitution of the top management officials of the Nigeria Police Academy (POLAC), Wudil in Kano State. Whereas POLAC as a federal government parastatal should strike a balance in its management team with the appointment of its top officials from across the country to reflect equal representation, a document sighted by SaharaReporters has revealed that the Provost and deans of faculties of the academy are from four Northern states.
