The Zamfara State Government has revealed that the Nigerian government doled out N214,285 cash to each of the 14 female students of the Federal University Gusau (FUG) recently rescued from bandits. The Zamfara Commissioner for Humanitarian and Relief Matters, Alhaji Salisu Musa in a statement on Tuesday said the monetary assistance was presented to the victims through the Federal Ministry for Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Alleviation The minister had paid a one-day working visit to the state during which he commiserated with the university and the victims.
