South Florida-based moving broker sued over use of Mayflower name in alleged consumer scam
A federal lawsuit filed Wednesday by national logistics company Mayflower Transit claims a South Florida-based moving broker called Mayflower Relocation Services is deceiving consumers by infringing on the larger company's trademark. The company is among numerous brokers who dupe consumers into paying thousands over their original estimates by holding their goods hostage, the suit says.
