Leica announces APO-Summicron-M 35mm F2 ASPH

The compact 35mm F2 is the closest-focusing M-mount lens, with a minimum focus distance of just 30cm (11.8"). You'll need to be in live view mode to focus accurately between 0.7-0.3m though, since the rangefinder coupling mechanisms of M-series cameras can't index in that range.
