The BBC reported this week that the model, U.K. native Madalyn Davis, perished shortly after climbing over a fence to reach a “selfie hotspot” in Diamond Bay.

Coroners have since announced that Davis, who fell 262 feet and was later found 55 feet below the ocean surface, was “impaired” during the incident.
Nottinghamshire assistant coroner Gordon Clow stated that alcohol and trace amounts of drugs “impaired Ms Davis’ ability to make decisions and balance.”
Davis left a house party to take a selfie on the cliff at sunrise and is said to have had double the legal driving alcohol limit for the U.K. in her blood, according to a toxicology report. The report also found traces of amphetamines, cocaine, ketamine, and MDMA. ....
