In the last month, nearly 1 million doses of the COVID-19 vaccine have been sent to North Carolina, however only one-third of those vaccines have been administered. 

Yet most other states managed to roll out the vaccine more quickly than North Carolina, which has so far administered only about one-third of its allotment.
