Fields to serve as Bernards Township mayor in 2021
BERNARDS TWP. â Republican Township Committeewoman Janice Fields is expected to be the committeeâs choice to serve as mayor for 2021. The five-member governing body, which annually rotates the mayoral title among its members, plans to formally choose Fields to succeed fellow Republican Mayor James Baldassare Jr. at its annual reorganization meeting scheduled for 7 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 5, at town hall on Collyer Lane.
