The devastation and the water rise that we saw just yesterday has done down dramatically. there was a golf course over there. it was covered in water yesterday. we had we ve been in the helicopter the past 3 1/2 hours and we saw an amazing rescue of a family. watch this. they re leaning over the edge over there. i m not sure how close we can get. we don t want to get in their way because they re busy. they dropped the basket down. they re clearly looking for somebody. and then as soon as that person gets in, they will hoist the person up. as a rule, the people taken up in the basket are fairly immobile. here we go. this is the first rescue victim. this is a child. ....
These are areas where they ve gotten on one on calls or other emergency calls where people are trapped and people are needing rescue. they send these blackhawk helicopters to get them. the diver just went down this wire. they re going to go down, he s going to pick up someone and then they will lower a basket and pick that person out. the divers in the water are trying to locate the person. because the winds are blowing so heavily, the pilot is trying to maneuver this blackhawk helicopter into a position where it s safe for everybody on board as well as to pick up the rescue victim in the diver. they are winging into position. we ve been doing this often on for the past eight or nine hours. these guys have done 11 or 12 of these rescues. they have taken dozens of people, and sometimes the people can go to shelters. if you ve never seen a black hawk tried to land on a ....
