Gilbert Motsaathebe, PhD is an associate professor of Communication and Media at the University of Johannesburg. He is also the Editor-in-Chief of the Journal for Communication Sciences in Southern Africa. He previously taught at the United Arab Emirates University in the UAE, the Cape Peninsula University of Technology in South Africa, and Ariake in Nagasaki, Japan.
