The Nelson Marlborough Rescue Helicopter airlifted one person to Nelson Hospital from the Marlborough Sounds on Sunday. A child has been airlifted to hospital after an ATV crash in the Marlborough Sounds. The Nelson Marlborough Rescue Helicopter was called out to a location in Resolution Bay at about 1.15pm on Sunday afternoon, where an ATV had rolled and injured one person. Rescue Helicopter pilot Barry McAuliffe said a 12-year-old girl was airlifted to Nelson Hospital. A St John spokesman said one patient had suffered moderate injuries. Stuff
